It’s been suggested that Matondo left Rangers for free, but the Bears did work in a hefty sell-on clause as well as other performance and club-related bonuses.
The former Stoke City man was costing Gers a pretty price for all of the time he spent taking up wages, despite being unable to play.

So in some knock-on effect, there is a way that Matondo’s exit can green-light a push for Just this summer.
