Rangers could be set to finalise a professional contract for Ashton Scally urgently to stop Premier League sides from poaching him.
The 15-year-old has attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool, according to the Daily Record.
The report on 1 April claims that the Ibrox side are confident that he will agree to fresh terms in Govan, with a three-year deal on the table.
It states that their sources believe that the contract could be signed imminently to ward off the interest from south of the border.
Rangers look set to secure the talented left-back and stop him from following several of their young players out of the door.

Why can Rangers only offer a three-year deal?
There was a belief that Rangers gem Scally was bound to end up at City, with a move to the Etihad Stadium seemingly close.
However, he now seems set to commit his future to the Light Blues in a huge boost to Danny Rohl’s side, given that they have lost the likes of Chris Condy, Oliver Goodbrand and Alfie Hutchison to the English game recently.

The reason that he can only sign a three-year deal is that he turns 16 later this month, and that is the maximum length allowed by FIFA rules for under-18 players.
Who is Ashton Scally?
Scally is the son of Clyde coach Neil Scally, whose playing career included spells with Ayr United, Dumbarton, Falkirk and Queen of the South.
Rohl is already aware of his talent, as he has trained with the first team and the German boss wanted to call him and Kyle Glasgow into the squad for the Scottish Cup clash with Annan, but was prohibited due to their age.
Rohl and the hierarchy at Auchenhowie have apparently made it clear to the youngster that there is a pathway to the senior side, if he keeps up his impressive development going forward.
