Bojan Miovski to get Rangers wish as Ryan Naderi excuses can’t continue

Bojan Miovski should be in Danny Rohl’s Rangers plans ahead of Ryan Naderi after the international break.

The North Macedonia international has arguably been treated poorly in recent weeks, starting on the bench in his last six William Hill Premiership matches.

Instead, Rohl has preferred Youssef Chermiti and Naderi’s partnership, with the former Hansa Rostock striker now failing to score in any of his seven league appearances.

Miovski’s impact at Ibrox hasn’t been what many fans expected at the start of the season, but his lack of opportunities has arguably contributed to that.

Ryan Naderi concerns emerge at Rangers after what’s been heard

Naderi was signed in the winter transfer window for around £5million, but the Gers are yet to get a return on their investment.

The German forward has formed a decent partnership with Chermiti up top, but his overall contribution has been negligent.

When Andrew Cavenagh made a significant investment to sign the 22-year-old, he must have surely been expecting a consistent goalscorer.

Naderi was decent against Aberdeen in the 4-1 win on 21 March at Ibrox, providing an assist, but the Glaswegian outfit need more from him.

Some fans are starting to praise the striker for his effort and running distance in games, but he’ll ultimately be judged by how many goals he scores.

Every other aspect of Naderi’s game will amount to nothing more than an excuse if he can’t produce the numbers when it comes to finding the back of the net.

Danny Rohl risks league title race collapse at Ibrox

Rohl has time before the next game against Dundee United at Ibrox on 4 April to figure out how to bring out the best from his strikers.

While Rangers managed to cruise past Aberdeen without their number nines finding the back of the net, that won’t be the case every time.

Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane, for all their faults, found the back of the net consistently for the Light Blues during their time in Govan.

Chermiti, Naderi and Miovski’s apparent inability to shoulder the goalscoring burden at the Glaswegian outfit could come back to haunt them by the end of the season.
