Rangers: Three stars that can use international break in last-gasp effort to impress Danny Rohl
Rangers have plenty of players heading out on international duty, with many of those also on the fringes of Danny Rohl’s plans.
For those called up to their national team, it is a chance to continue the momentum they have built in Glasgow. For those low on the pecking order, there is an opportunity for minutes.
Those that fall into the latter could use the next few weeks as a way to catch the eye of their club manager. Rohl is sure to keep tabs on his players.
With minutes for plenty being slim at Ibrox, strong performances on the international stage could serve as a reminder to the German of what they can offer.

Bojan Miovski (North Macedonia)
Youssouf Chermiti and Ryan Naderi have been struggling in front of goal lately, and with Miovski as third-choice centre-forward, he could use North Macedonia’s matches as a way to jump up the pecking order.
The 26-year-old joins his national squad for their World Cup qualifying play-off against Denmark, ahead of a potential tie against the Republic of Ireland or Czechia if they win.

If Miovski can fire in the goals for his nation and send them to the tournament in North America, he will return to Ibrox with fire in his belly.
The confidence could boost his chances of playing a key role for the Gers, as for much of the season, he has played a supporting role.
Derek Cornelius (Canada)
A muscle injury has sidelined Derek Cornelius since November, but he has finally returned to action.
However, upon return, Rohl did banish him to train with the Rangers youth team instead of integrating him back into his plans.
The Canadian defender has been called up to his national side, with the prospect of his first minutes in three months now on the cards.
A return to the Rangers first team has not been entirely ruled out by the German, with Rohl keeping the door open for Cornelius.
If the Marseille loanee impresses for the Canucks, then he very well could still have a part to play at Ibrox this season.
Nedim Bajrami (Albania)
Throughout this season, the Albanian has started just three games and made only 12 Scottish Premiership appearances. The 27-year-old is not trusted by Rohl at the minute.
However, with his national team competing in a crucial World Cup qualifier against Poland and then potentially Sweden or Ukraine, he could still yet impress the German.

- He has scored one goal and recorded one assist
If Bajrami can prove he is a player that can have an impact in big games, then Rohl could have reason to turn to him for the rest of the season.
An Albanian upset against those three aforementioned sides would take a strong performance, and if Bajrami is a key player in those matches, Rohl would have no choice but to take notice.
