Kris Boyd shakes head at Hearts suggestion as Rangers named title favourites
Kris Boyd is now backing Rangers to come out on top in the three-way Scottish Premiership title tussle.
Rangers beat Aberdeen 4-1 at Ibrox on Saturday to stay within three points of leaders Hearts, who beat Dundee 1-0 earlier in the day.
Celtic slipped up on Sunday, meanwhile, as they were beaten 2-0 at Dundee United to find themselves in third place.
Just five points separates the top three, however, ahead of the league split next month.
Rangers are still basking in a job well done against Aberdeen, with Boyd now throwing his weight behind his former side.

Rangers backed to overtake Hearts
When it was put to Boyd on The Scottish Sun’s Go Ballistic show that Hearts will go on and win the league from here, Boyd shook his head.
He was then pushed to put his cards on the table, to which he replied with a smirk on his face: “I think Rangers will win it. I’m back to Rangers this week!”
Rangers are set to host Dundee United at Ibrox on their return to action on April 4, followed by a trip to Falkirk eight days later.
Danny Rohl will be eager for his players on international duty to return injury free for that one.
Hearts, meanwhile, face Livingston away and Motherwell at home, before the league is then divided in half.
For what it is worth, Celtic have Dundee and St Mirren away and at home respectively when they return to action.
Rangers could hold advantage ahead of next round of games
Rangers’ clash with Dundee United kicks off at 3pm on the Saturday, while Hearts are not in action against Livingston until 2pm the next day.

As we have seen many times this season, the team playing first tends to get the job done in the Scottish Premiership title race.
Rohl will know his side can join Hearts on 66 points should they not make a mess of that next game at Ibrox in a little under two weeks’ time.
It has already been one of the greatest titles races in SPFL history, and there will no doubt be a number of further twists and turns to follow between now and the season concluding.
