Mikey Moore excels in Rangers victory
Moore has been one of Rangers’ best players this season, and he continued his brilliant form against the Dons.
He had five shots against Stephen Robinson’s side, with three of them being blocked by the opposition, and one going in the net, per Sofascore.
The Tottenham loanee completed 85 per cent of his passes, misplacing just five of his attempts to find a teammate.
He was particularly comfortable in his own half, completing all seven passes, for a 100 per cent success rate in that area.
The 18-year-old took 54 touches, losing the ball 17 times, and made 29 carries for a total distance of 333.7m, as he carried his side up the pitch.
Moore made five recoveries as he helped Rohl’s side to win the ball back on several occasions.
He will be key to their title chase in the next few weeks.
Youssef Chermiti has miserable afternoon in Rangers win
Youssef Chermiti was very underwhelming in the Gers’ victory, as he put in an anonymous performance.
He had two shots, and Sofascore defined both as big chances missed, in a dismal afternoon for the forward.
Chermiti had 41 touches but gave the ball away nine times, meaning that he was extremely uncomfortable in possession.
The 21-year-old recorded 13 carries for a total distance of 96.8m, struggling to get his side up the pitch and have an impact on proceedings.
The Light Blues need more from the former Everton man in the run-in, if they are to overhaul Derek McInnes’ side in the coming weeks and lift the championship.
