What is Ross McCausland’s contract situation at Rangers?
There was little surprise when the attacker was shown the door in the summer, especially when Russell Martin made multiple attacking signings.
Things haven’t exactly been amazing for the Northern Irishman while on loan, with four goals coming from his 19 league appearances.
That could result in his return to G51 being imminent when the season comes to an end, with his future already secure at Ibrox.
That is due to his current contract, which will lock him down until the summer of 2027, having only agreed to fresh terms in November 2023.
There are contrasting reports over his salary with the Light Blues, but a figure in the region of £5,000 per week is a fair estimate.
That represents a £240,000 yearly wage for the winger, with over 12 months still remaining on his current deal with the Gers.
McCausland was linked with a move to MLS in the summer, but his future at Ibrox now remains up in the air, moving closer to the summer window.
