Dujon Sterling to leave Rangers in summer, latest developments showcase why
Dujon Sterling may have already run his race at Rangers.
Rangers are due to face Livingston on Sunday afternoon, and they will do so without the services of Sterling.
The 26-year-old started for the Gers’ in their latest 4-2 win over Hearts, but was substituted in the 58th minute, with a new injury now revealed.
Sterling could be set to miss around three weeks of action, which could rule him out for the Old Firm in March, but the latest injury could mean a lot more than that in regard to his future at Ibrox.
And not in a positive way.

Rangers need to cash in on Dujon Sterling
Sterling can be an excellent player when fit, but that is where his biggest issue lies.
The 26-year-old has missed 36 games for the Light Blues across the last two seasons, having undergone surgery for an Achilles tendon injury before suffering another muscular injury in January.
His latest setback could see him miss a further three games, which is not only a blow for Rangers but also for his own future in Glasgow.
Sterling has one year left on his deal upon the end of the current campaign, meaning this summer will be the last chance they get to recoup money for his exit.

While it’s unlikely to be a significant fee given that, as well as his injury tendency, it’s a scenario that the Gers will have to consider if they want to avoid losing him for nothing potentially six months later.
Rangers have new summer transfer priority
What Rangers do in the summer may hinge on what success they can achieve this season.
However, it’s clear that, regardless of that success, signing another right-back is going to be very high up on their list of priorities.
James Tavernier has had another good campaign, but the continued absence of Sterling means that the Gers have very few options to utilise there, and will have even fewer when Max Aarons returns from his loan.
Nathan Patterson has often found himself mooted for a return to Ibrox, and that could be a deal to keep an eye on over the next few months, especially with Everton said to be on the lookout for a new right-back themselves.
