Tim Sherwood wants Mikey Moore back at Tottenham now as he quizzes Rangers fan
Tim Sherwood has expressed his desire to see Mikey Moore back at Tottenham.
The young winger joined Rangers on loan last summer and has become a fan favourite at Ibrox despite an initial slow start.
Making 22 Scottish Premiership appearances, the 18-year-old has found the back of the net four times and provided two assists across multiple positions in the frontline.
Rangers sit second in the Scottish Premiership heading into the run-in, just two points behind leaders Hearts, with Moore set to play a big part as Danny Rohl’s side chase their first title since 2021.

Rangers podcaster showers Mikey Moore with praise
Much like many within the ranks at Ibrox, Moore struggled to get going during the season’s early days under Russell Martin, though he has now burst onto the scene – scoring a huge goal in the 3-1 win against Celtic.
Having the chance to quiz Rangers podcaster Martyn Ramsay on Sky Sports News, Sherwood admitted he wants him back, saying: “Tell me more about Moore, a lad I keep a close eye on because he’s on loan from Tottenham.
“People would argue with the fact that we are in a relegation battle, but I don’t think he would let you down more than any of the signings they have made.”
Ramsay admitted that Moore is fearless on the ball and is exactly the type of player that Rangers will need in the upcoming title race.
Tottenham sit 16th in the Premier League, having turned to ex-Juventus manager Igor Tudor to steer the Lillywhites away from the relegation zone.
Rohl’s side beat rivals Hearts 4-2 last time out, cutting the gap at the top to two points, before crucial bouts with Livingston and arch-rivals Celtic in the coming weeks.
Mikey Moore’s fearless attitude could make title-winning difference
At just 18, Moore has continued to grow in confidence throughout his season in Scotland, and his fearless attitude has made a huge difference under Rohl, no matter where he is deployed.
And it is this attitude that could make a humongous difference when push comes to shove in the title race.

Rangers started the season dismally under the guidance of Martin, whose tenure came to an end in early October.
Since then, Rangers have continued to shift through the gears under Rohl, throwing themselves back into the title picture alongside Hearts and Celtic.
Moore himself epitomises this, with his willingness to make things happen and carry on attempting to do so – not letting his head drop when things don’t go as planned.
It has been a fantastic effort to claw back ground from Rangers, and the attitude instilled by Rohl that is flowing through his side could make the difference in the title race as Rangers look to bring the first league title since 2021 back to Ibrox.
