Barry Ferguson predicts Rangers result vs Livingston, shares possible scoreline

Barry Ferguson is confident about Rangers beating Livingston in the William Hill Premiership on Sunday.

The Gers icon and former interim manager believes the Glaswegian outfit will have too much for Marvin Bartley’s team at Almondvale Stadium on 22 February.

In the Light Blues’ last two games away from Ibrox, they’ve dropped points against Motherwell and Hibernian, but Danny Rohl is expected to turn it around in West Lothian.

Ferguson believes the Govan side will dominate Livi and come away with three crucial points with a 2-0 victory.

Danny Rohl going into Livingston vs Rangers at perfect time

Youssef Chermiti will be confident going into the Livingston game after scoring a hat-trick as the Gers beat Hearts.

The Portugal Under-21 international silenced his critics at Ibrox in the 4-2 win, starting alongside Ryan Naderi despite calls from fans to drop him from the team.

As shown in the Sofascore graphic below, the former Everton ace arguably had one of his best games for the Light Blues and having an in-form striker will undoubtedly be a big boost for Rohl at Almondvale Stadium.

Speaking to the Daily Record on 17 February, Ferguson said, “I think Rangers will have learned their lessons after poor performances on the road at Hibs and Motherwell. They won’t make the same mistake against Livi. I don’t think this one will even be close. Rangers will win it with something to spare.”

As things stand, just two points separate the Glaswegian outfit and Hearts at the top of the table.

Celtic are also close behind and go level on points with the Jam Tarts if they win their game in hand, making the title race an intriguing watch for the neutrals.

Ibrox to have new fan favourite in Danny Rohl winter signing

Jayden Meghoma has done an impressive job at left-back for the Gers, but he finally has competition for a place in the starting lineup.

Rangers signed Tuur Rommens from Westerlo in the winter transfer window, and the defender’s initial displays have been great.

The Belgium Under-21 international has provided defensive solidity and a real attacking threat on the Glaswegian outfit’s left flank, as evident from the Sofascore graphic above.

If Rommens continues to perform at a high level, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the 22-year-old quickly turn into a fan favourite, with Rohl facing a dilemma on who his first-choice left-back will be for the upcoming crunch fixtures.
