Rangers fans will love what Findlay Curtis did in Kilmarnock’s dramatic loss vs Celtic
Findlay Curtis has proven how much he loves Rangers.
Although he has impressed under both Danny Rohl and Russell Martin, the Gers felt it was the best idea for the winger to go out on loan to Kilmarnock in the winter transfer window.
Killie manager Neil McCann wanted Curtis in Ayrshire for the second half of the campaign after he saw the 19-year-old’s potential when he was a coach at Ibrox last season.
Rangers fans also believe that he has an abundance of talent, but they’ll be even more thrilled after he was seen celebrating in front of the Celtic fans in their 3-2 win away to Kilmarnock on Sunday.

Findlay Curtis proves his allegiance to Rangers in Kilmarnock loss vs Celtic
Curtis has shown his ability to unlock defences with a moment of magic, and although he hasn’t scored for his new side yet, consistent game time will definitely allow him to develop.
Having registered an assist in the midweek win over St Mirren, he was desperate to deliver a good performance against Rangers’ Old Firm rivals Celtic.
Tyreece John-Jules scored the opener for Kilmarnock, followed by Curtis wildly celebrating in front of the green and white away end.
When Joe Hugill made it 2-0, the 19-year-old found himself in the goal, and he screamed towards the bewildered Celtic fans once again.
The celebrations were definitely premature as Celtic scored three goals, including a 97th-minute winner, to secure a win at Rugby Park.
However, Rangers supporters will still be pleased to see Curtis display his animosity towards Celtic, even while he is out on loan.
Curtis will be a key player for Danny Rohl next season
Rangers academy product Curtis is being tipped to have a big impact at Rangers in the future.
In fact, he had a bright start to this season, but this was seemingly ignored despite scoring some key goals under Martin.
In Rohl’s first few months in charge, he rarely gave the youngster an opportunity in the starting lineup, and it’s no shock that he ended up going out on loan.
- He scored the first goal of Rangers’ season in the 2-0 Champions League playoff win against Panathinaikos on 22 July
- He found the back of the net in Rangers’ 4-2 win over Alloa Athletic in the second round of the Premier Sports Cup on 16 August
- Earned a point for the Bears by equalising against St. Mirren in the Scottish Premiership 1-1 draw on 24 August
Under McCann’s coaching at Kilmarnock, he’ll be given the chance not only to play but to learn how he can become more disciplined off the ball.
Rohl will be keen to see how Curtis has progressed at the start of next season, and if he continues to excel on this trajectory, he could become a consistent starter for the Light Blues.
What’s clear is that the fans will certainly hold him in higher regard after Sunday’s antics.
