Ryan Naderi already draws Alfredo Morelos comparison after full Rangers debut vs Queen’s Park
Ryan Naderi may have already justified the price that Rangers splashed out for his signature in the winter market.
Danny Rohl watched his side thump Queen’s Park 8-0 in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup, as multiple stars had brilliant performances.
James Tavernier scored a hat-trick for the Bears, while Tochi Chukwuani grabbed his first in blue and white.
However, Naderi‘s brace has given the Ibrox faithful and more every bit of confidence that he can be the striker to fire Rangers over the line in the race for the Scottish Premiership title.
The German’s full debut was so impressive that he’s now been compared to former Gers forward Alfredo Morelos.

Keith Jackson likens Ryan Naderi to Alfredo Morelos
Andreas Skov Olsen came close on a number of occasions to grab another goal for the Bears, but it was Naderi who stole the spotlight out of Rangers‘ most recent signings.
He even had chances to get a hat-trick, which would have been some achievement on his first-ever start for the club.
Morelos has been missed at Ibrox for years, for several different reasons, and if Naderi can be just as good as the Colombian, then the Gers will be delighted.

While speaking on the Daily Record’s Hotline Live after the match against Queen’s Park, Keith Jackson was quick to praise Naderi’s showing.
Jackson: “You’ve got to remember the context, which is they were playing Queen’s Park today, but that big Naderi looks as if he could be a real find.
“He’s got a lovely touch, he’s got a great work ethic, and his first thought is to get in goal-scoring opportunities. Rangers haven’t had a striker like that since Morelos.”
Despite a clear lack of quality in the opposition, there was still significant evidence that was on display in Naderi’s performance.
What we learned from Naderi’s display against Queen’s Park
Rangers paid £4.75million up front for Naderi, as Hansa Rostock were keen on keeping the striker until the end of the season. Well, it’s clear to see why now.
The German was everywhere for the Bears, dropping in deep to help progress play before darting into the box looking to get his body on the end of crosses.
The 22-year-old showed a tendency to run at the near post and use his physicality to put defenders off.
Both of his goals came from brilliantly directed headers, and he looks to be a real threat in the air. But most of all, he works hard, and it’s a big difference to what Rangers fans have seen from their forwards this campaign.
