Hugh Keevins demands Danny Rohl change as Rangers developments perplex
Danny Rohl must have surely been surprised to see fans boo Rangers against Kilmarnock in the William Hill Premiership.
Killie travelled to Ibrox on 4 February and were beaten 5-1 by the Gers after an impressive second-half performance from the hosts.
However, fans in G51 were sure to express their disappointment to Rohl after the opening 45 minutes against Kilmarnock, with boos ringing out in Govan at the break.
The German manager seemed to have taken it to heart, and his half-time team talk delivered results that eventually calmed the nerves of supporters, but it would undoubtedly be wise for him to understand that’s how football is in Scotland.

Danny Rohl must adapt to Rangers environment
Hugh Keevins has advised Rohl to adapt to the culture at the Gers rather than be disgruntled about fans making their voices heard.
The veteran journalist wants the German manager to understand how important the league is to the Ibrox faithful, who’ve seen their team struggle for much of recent history.
Instead of expecting the supporters in Govan to calm down, it’s the former Sheffield Wednesday boss who needs to realise that this is the sort of pressure that he will face at the Light Blues.
Writing in the Daily Record on 7 February, Keevins said, “How do you explain a city like Glasgow, and a rivalry like the Old Firm, to a man like Rohl? The German was perplexed by the booing inside Ibrox at half-time on Wednesday night.”
The journalist added, “For some, on both sides of the divide, this season’s championship is truly a matter of life and death. It’s always been this way, and it will continue to be this way. You are the one who has to adapt. Not them.”
Rohl is in the thick of the William Hill Premiership title race, and the fanbase will surely be nervous and anxious to keep pace with Hearts and Celtic in the table as the season progresses.
Andrew Cavenagh surely set for Ibrox disappointment after Ibrox investment
Andrew Cavenagh has put his money where his mouth is at Ibrox, spending a significant sum in the last two transfer windows.
While Rangers arguably had a poor summer window under Kevin Thelwell, they seem to have done much better business this time around, signing Tuur Rommens, Tochi Chukwuani, Andreas Skov Olsen and Ryan Naderi.

The Light Blues have addressed issues in some key areas of their pitch, and it’s now up to Rohl to deliver.
The American owners clearly believe the league is there for the taking, and if the German manager can’t get the Glaswegian outfit over the line, there will surely be disappointment among the hierarchy.
