Tottenham talks over Mikey Moore recall revealed, this is why he’s still at Rangers
Tottenham winger Mikey Moore remained at Rangers beyond the January window.
There were fears that Tottenham could recall Moore from his loan at Ibrox after a hugely positive stint under Danny Rohl.
Various big names in North London, like Tim Sherwood, wanted Moore back at Tottenham, but no deal came to fruition for the winger.
The Englishman didn’t return to Spurs, so he featured and got on the scoresheet as Rangers secured a 5-1 win against Kilmarnock on Wednesday.
Insight has now been revealed from the Lilywhites that has explained why Moore stuck around Govan for the rest of the campaign.

Tottenham decided against Mikey Moore recall
There was a real fear that the Gers could lose one of their best attacking players halfway through the campaign.
Rohl has managed to get the best out of the 18-year-old, who continues to go from strength to strength in the Scottish Premiership.
That was showcased with his late strike against Kilmarnock as his goal and assist helped to secure a 5-1 victory at Ibrox.
Things could have been so different if Tottenham had brought the youngster back to N17 during the January transfer window.
Football London have now reported that the Lilywhites made the decision to leave Moore at Rangers to allow him to pick up regular minutes this season.
Even with Thomas Frank’s injury crisis, the chance for the forward to play regularly in front of 50,000 supporters at Ibrox will benefit his development.
The belief within the Tottenham hierarchy is that Moore has already improved during his loan, so leaving him in G51 will benefit him more than an early return.
Rangers reap rewards of Moore patience at Tottenham
Spurs are in the middle of a hugely disappointing campaign, where they look destined to finish towards the bottom end of the Premier League.
They are out of both cup competitions and are unlikely to win the Champions League, so the rest of the season could be seen as largely pointless.
That gives Rangers the perfect avenue to keep hold of Moore as they continue their hunt to secure the Scottish Premiership title.

The teenager is likely to have a sizable impact across the rest of the season, and losing him may have been disastrous.
Rohl and Co. need to now get the most out of the youngster as he is destined to return to North London and become a regular next season.
