This is whether Ryan Naderi could make his Rangers debut vs Kilmarnock after Ibrox transfer
Rangers sealed their fourth signing of the winter window with the capture of striker Ryan Naderi.
Sturm Graz ace Tochi Chukwuani was Rangers’ first recruit of the window as head coach Danny Rohl landed the defensive midfielder he was after.
Westerlo defender Tuur Rommens followed, and Wolfsburg’s Andreas Skov Olsen arrived on loan, before Hansa Rostock star Naderi finally joined Rangers on 2 February.
Following the Dresden-born forward’s capture at Ibrox, the 22-year-old said he planned to “make the most of this opportunity” with the Scottish giants.
The next question on Rangers fans’ lips will be, ‘When can he make his debut?’ and it looks as though they won’t have to wait very long to have that answered.
When will Ryan Naderi make his Rangers debut?
Despite just about getting the paperwork done before the 11 pm deadline on 2 February, Naderi wasn’t announced by Rangers until the following day.
The Ibrox club said the young star, who notched eight goals and five assists in 18 appearances for third-tier German side Hansa Rostock this season, had signed a “long-term deal”.
Naderi, who joined Hansa from Borussia Monchengladbach in August 2024, signed in a deal worth up to £4.7million as he seeks to add more firepower to Rangers’ attack.

Now that the window is shut, Rangers can focus on Wednesday night’s clash with Kilmarnock as they seek to close to within three points of league leaders Hearts.
And according to the Daily Record in its print edition, Naderi could make his debut against Killie at Ibrox.
Incidentally, Rohl has expressed his excitement at landing the striker, who has dual German and Bulgarian citizenship through his father, while he also qualifies for the Czech Republic via his mother.
Rohl added, “He is someone who has a lot of potential, and I believe we can help take his game to the next level.”
Naderi compared to past and present German internationals
Sometimes, when a new signing is made, managers can get a bit carried away in their assessments. And going by Rohl’s recent comments, a few eyebrows may have been raised.
For instance, Rohl likened the 6ft 4in striker to former Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund striker Fredi Bobic, who was part of Germany’s Euro 1996 winning squad.
The former Sheffield Wednesday boss spoke of him in a similar vein to Newcastle United’s summer signing Nick Woltemade, who joined in a club record £69m deal.

Rohl is doing an excellent job at Rangers, so some may excuse these eye-catching comments. But it seems the young German coach means every word.
Following his capture, Rohl said: “I spoke today with some coaches from Germany and received many messages saying, ‘Congratulations on a good signing‘.
“They compare him with – hopefully I don’t make him too big now – but they compare him between former player Fredi Bobic and Woltemade.
“If he can bring this level here, we will have a lot of fun with him. He’s really smart.”
If he does feature against Kilmarnock, Rangers fans are likely to give their deadline day signing a rousing reception.
