Rangers have obvious choice to make amid telling Joel Piroe and Ryan Naderi reveal
Rangers’ striker struggles are set to be lifted one way or another in the coming days.
Danny Rohl wants a new number nine, and the 49ers are doing what they can to aid him in the Gers’ quest of winning the Scottish Premiership.
The Bears have already welcomed Andreas Skov Olsen, Tuur Rommens, and Tochi Chukwuani in recent weeks, but could be set for more spending before Monday’s deadline.
Rangers have had a bid of £2.6million rejected for Ryan Naderi, but the Bears are still in conversation with Hansa Rostock over a potential deal.
Alternatively, Leeds United’s Joel Piroe could come to Ibrox on loan until the end of the season, as only one man may walk through the doors at Auchenhowie.
A statistical nosedive into the pair perfectly highlights who would be the best striker for Rohl.

Ryan Naderi and Joel Piroe’s stats this season are miles apart in similarity
Rangers could offer Hansa Rostock more money for Naderi, but the German side’s stance is that they don’t want their talisman to leave this window.
If the Bears were to fail in their attempts to land the 22-year-old, full attention would be turned to Piroe, although it’s unclear as to who the main target currently is at this stage.

As highlighted by Sofascore, Naderi and Piroe’s seasons have drawn drastic comparisons. Naderi is the player in form, having scored eight goals to Piroe’s zero in five more appearances.
The Leeds striker has been subject to a lack of game time this campaign, and in turn, that has harmed his performance levels, as he manages just 35 minutes per game.
The stats prove that Naderi is more of the all-action striker that Rohl needs, averaging 1.94 shots per game, while winning over 39 per cent of his duels.
It would be both a big difference and upgrade on Youssef Chermiti, who has been criticised for rather static displays.
However, the truth is that there is a huge gulf in quality between the Premier League and the third tier of German football, so these readings need to come with a pinch of salt.
Naderi’s valuation raises Rangers concern amid Piroe’s form
Naderi is still the standout for Rangers to go ahead and pull the trigger for, but the 49ers need to be wary of overspending.
Hansa Rostock clearly have a stubborn stance on their prized-asset, and are aware of the funds that the Gers can bring to the table.
But if Naderi stays true to his feelings, he may leave his side with no choice but to accept an offer on the low side from the Bears.

Piroe was the Championship’s top goalscorer last season after netting 19 times in 46 appearances, but the Dutchman raises a massive concern over his current form.
No goals scored this season so far means that Rangers could land themselves a striker who isn’t currently familiar with how to put the ball in the back of the net.
That’s the last thing that the Bears need, and in this case, overspending for Naderi could be the better option.
