Rangers goalkeeper admired by Liverpool coach as clubs in attendance at Auchenhowie
Rangers have spent most of the winter transfer window focusing on players they can bring into the club, but it may well be that someone they do not want to leave is poached.
Ryan Naderi looks likely to be the next signing at Rangers ahead of the window closing for business on Monday evening.
The Hansa Rostock striker is set to cost Rangers in excess of £2.5million, making it a record amount for a player in the German third tier.
Should he arrive at Ibrox, Naderi will become Rangers’ first signing since Andreas Skov Olsen joined on loan a couple of weeks ago.
Tochi Chukwuani and Tuur Rommens have also arrived at Ibrox on permanent deals over the past month.
But as per an update shared on Friday, a Rangers youngster is now attracting interest from English clubs.

Rydnn McGuire wanted by teams in England
Young goalkeeper Rydnn McGuire was targeted by Arsenal in the summer transfer window in what would have been a seven-figure deal.
However, nothing came of that and the interest has gone quiet from Arsenal’s side of things ever since.
As per Chris Jack for Rangers Review, though, McGuire is on the radar of a handful of Premier League clubs south of the border.
Jack adds that contract talks are expected between McGuire and Rangers, with the Gers eager to tie down their most promising talents – McGuire being one of them.
Everton are said to remain long-term suitors of McGuire, while Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth have all been in attendance at Auchenhowie.
- Rydnn McGuire was targeted by Everton and Arsenal in the summer window
- Rangers are reported to have knocked back a bid in the region of seven figures
- Everton still remain interested in McGuire, while rivals Liverpool may also now be interested
- Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth have all recently watched the young goalkeeper
Interestingly, it is also reported that former Rangers coach Colin Stewart, who is now part of Liverpool’s staff, is also an admirer.

How much money would Rangers get for McGuire?
Everton are reported to have had a £1million offer for McGuire rejected last year, with Rangers clearly feeling he is a star of the future.
With the youngster still having 18 months to run on his contract, plus the fact he is wanted by multiple clubs, it is not unreasonable to think a similar offer could come in this summer – or indeed before.
Ultimately, though, a small seven-figure sum does not stack up to what Rangers believe McGuire could be worth a year or two from now.
The Gers are set to engage in contract talks with the goalkeeper, and it may be that he asks for assurances over a pathway to the first team.
Jack Butland has been Rangers’ undisputed number one for a while, but that will not be the case forever.
Rangers should therefore do all they can to tempt McGuire into staying on and forgetting about moving to an English team, where his pathway to the first team is likely to be even more difficult.
