Rangers blow competition away to sign Ryan Naderi in ‘huge’ transfer developments

Rangers are pushing to sign a new striker in the final days of the transfer window.

Danny Rohl has already signed off on some priority deals, with the likes of Andreas Skov Olsen and Tochi Chukwuani already making their Ibrox debuts.

Tuur Rommens makes it three signings for the month, but Andrew Cavenagh isn’t finished there.

Rangers have made a bid to sign Hansa Rostock striker Ryan Naderi, and things appear to be moving quickly in Germany already.

Ryan Naderi move could change his life

Hansa Rostock are currently in the third tier of German football, so a move to Scotland with possible qualification for the Champions League on the line is massive.

Niclas Borner has reported on X that Naderi is determined to leave Germany behind for Rangers, calling it a “huge opportunity.”

The bid of £2.6million from Ibrox is seen as too expensive for other German sides like Paderborn, with the deal now too expensive for them.

Who could leave Rangers?

Looking at the current options, it looks as though Danilo is a prime candidate to leave.

Pafos have made a £2million bid for Danilo, and the Bears may be tempted to cash in on the Brazilian, who hasn’t been consistent enough, unfortunately.

That would leave Bojan Miovski and Youssef Chermiti, and given their form throughout the season, another option is likely wanted.

What would Naderi offer, though?

With eight goals and four assists this season, Naderi can do both sides of the game effortlessly.

Towering over 6ft 3 is another tick with Rohl liking physical strikers, and their German link could see something very special created at Ibrox.

Other players, such as Joe Rothwell, could also still leave, with Cavenagh and the 49ers likely to keep spending, as long as some deadwood from the squad is cleared at the same time.

Celtic have made their move to bring in Tomas Cvancara from Germany, so it is nice to see Rangers react with a possible deal of their own to further cement their title push.
