Kris Boyd makes new Rangers transfer prediction after Ryan Naderi bid- ‘I’ll be honest with you’
Kris Boyd has made an interesting prediction about the rest of Rangers’ transfer window.
Danny Rohl has already brought in three new players with Tochi Chukwuani, Tuur Rommens and Andreas Skov Olsen joining Rangers.
They are now looking for a striker, and have lodged a £2.6million bid for Hansa Rostock striker Ryan Naderi, accoring to multiple sources.
That move could see Danilo depart Ibrox after Pafos tabled a £2m offer, but that may not be the end of business in Govan.

Kris Boyd thinks Rangers will make another signing
Rangers may still bring in another signing, to further bolster Rohl’s title-chasing squad, as they try to push Celtic and Hearts to the wire.
Gers legend Boyd believes that the Gers will not finish their business if they Naderi, and thinks they will push for another incoming.
Speaking on Go Ballistic on 26 January, he said: “Danny Rohl has been given money to go and get them and I think even if the German kid comes in, Rangers will still look to strengthen with another one.
“I’ll be honest with you, I don’t think they would have expected Danilo to go.
“They might have been hoping, but I don’t think they would have expected to get a permanent bid.
“So if they were already in the market for another one, they could go back in again.”

Where do Rangers need additions?
They should be all sorted in attack, and ready to push on offensively if they sign Naderi, and surely focus will shift to other areas of the squad at Auchenhowie.
Midfield is a potential aspect of Rohl’s squad where more bodies are needed, especially after Conor Barron’s injury, with the Scotsman reported to be out for eight to 12 weeks.
Nicolas Raskin and Mohamed Diomande lack the pace and physicality needed at times in the Scottish Premiership.
The likes of Jens Hjerto-Dahl and Dan Neil have been linked, and that would add the required steel to the Light Blues’ squad, if they could sign either of those options, although the latter looks set to join Ipswich.
| Player | Scottish Premiership appearances |
| Nicolas Raskin | 21 |
| Mohamed Diomande | 20 |
| Conor Barron | 19 |
| Joe Rothwell | 8 |
| Tochi Chukwuani | 1 |
The backline is another area where the G51 side could be lacking, with Yan Valery and Max Lowe linked from Rohl’s former side, Sheffield Wednesday.
Xavier Mbuyamba has been constantly linked, and has mentioned that he spoken to interested clubs ahead of his contract expiring in the summer, so that could be a potential route for the Bears, if they want to strengthen their defence.
It remains to be seen what business the Gers get done before the deadline on 2 February, but Boyd’s latest prediction is an encouraging one given that he still has connections to the club.
