Hansa Rostock decide on Rangers bid for Ryan Naderi as forward also makes his mind up

Hansa Rostock striker Ryan Naderi is keen on signing for Rangers in the winter transfer window.

It’s been claimed that an offer worth around £2.6million has been made for Naderi from Ibrox, with the German centre-forward determined to move to Scotland sooner rather than later.

Pafos have launched a bid to buy Danilo in January, and the 26-year-old Brazilian forward’s exit will surely open the door for the Light Blues to add another number nine to their ranks.

However, fans in G51 may have an eager wait to see whether the 6’4″ star, who’s scored eight goals and provided four assists in 17 league appearances this season, will move to the Glaswegian outfit before the 2 February deadline.

Rangers have bid rejected for Ryan Naderi

Hansa Rostock aren’t willing to accept the Gers’ offer for Naderi, according to Floarian Plettenberg.

The Sky Sports journalist revealed on 27 January that the 3. Liga outfit are looking to sell the centre-forward for a higher price in the summer.

It’s been claimed that the club from the third tier of German football don’t have a replacement lined up for the striker right now either.

Talks between Hansa Rostock and the Ibrox side have stalled despite Naderi wanting a move to the Light Blues.

Rohl has closed the gap on Hearts in the William Hill Premiership after beating Dundee 3-0 at home on 25 January.

The only thing that the Glaswegian outfit are clearly missing at the moment is a reliable goalscorer, and Naderi could potentially be the answer to the German manager’s issues in Govan, and his heatmap, provided by Sofascore, shows he can be the poacher they need.

Naderi may not be the only arrival at Ibrox before 2 February, with Kris Boyd predicting a push for another number nine if Danilo leaves.

Rangers may need to add experience to their ranks, and while the striking department should be a priority, they can’t lose track of other areas that need strengthening.

With John Souttar and Derek Cornelius sidelined, it would make sense for the Light Blues to pursue a centre-back in the coming days.

Dujon Sterling has also suffered consistent fitness issues, while Nasser Djiga and Emmanuel Fernandez clearly have an error in them, but only time will tell whether defensive reinforcements are on the Glaswegian outfit’s agenda.
