Rangers vs Dundee weather latest as Scottish Premiership fixture postponed
Ibrox is preparing to host Rangers’ Premiership clash with Dundee on Sunday.
Rangers’ 2-0 win over Aberdeen on 11 January is the last time Danny Rohl’s side were in league action, having turned their attention to various cup duties since.
On 16 January Rangers beat Annan 5-0 in the Scottish Cup, setting up a tie with Stranraer in the fifth round on 8 February.
And last time out, Rangers scraped past Ludogorets with a 1-0 win in the Europa League on Thursday night, handing them crucial coefficient points towards potential Champions League qualification for next season.

Rangers vs Dundee set to avoid weather impact amid Saturday postponement
Rangers beat Dundee 3-0 back in November of last year, and are hoping to ensure they remain unbeaten by Steven Pressley’s side in 2025-26, having drawn 1-1 in August too.
It’s set to be a hugely important Sunday in the Premiership season too, as Hearts take on Celtic at Tynecastle at the same time Rangers are kicking off against Dundee at Ibrox at 3pm.
However, numerous Gers games have been impacted by the weather over the winter period so far, as have many fixtures across Scottish football.
And one game did fall victim to the weather on Saturday, as Dundee United’s clash with St Mirren was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Tannadice.
Naturally, there will be fears over more fixtures being in jeopardy this weekend, but Rangers fans shouldn’t be fearing for the status of Sunday’s match against Dundee.

That’s because whilst there is a yellow Met Office weather warning for rain in place for Sunday, it’s covering large parts of East Scotland.
Glasgow is not part of that weather warning, and so whilst it may not be summer conditions at Ibrox, the game doesn’t appear to be in any danger of being called off.
Why Sunday could be watershed day in Premiership title race
So long as both Premiership games go ahead on Sunday, it looks set to be one of the biggest and most important matchdays in the league’s recent memory.
Should Hearts beat Celtic and Rangers lose to Dundee, Derek McInnes’ side would go nine points clear at the top of both the Glaswegian rivals.
However, should Rangers handle their business at Ibrox, they could find themselves in the rare situation of having root for Celtic through gritted teeth, as they can close the gap to three points.
