‘What are you doing?’ – Ally McCoist stunned by what he saw Rangers star do vs Ludogorets
Rangers won their first Europa League game of the season by beating Ludogorets Razgrad 1-0 at Ibrox on Thursday.
Mohamed Diomande opened the scoring for the Bears after striking a low volley past goalkeeper Hendrik Bonmann in the 33rd minute.
Findlay Curtis and Mikey Moore both came close to doubling the lead, but Danny Rohl’s side ultimately saw out a comfortable victory.
Despite the result, Rangers have been eliminated from the competition, and they currently sit 31st in the table, four points adrift from 24th-placed Celtic.
During the match, Ally McCoist was furious at what he saw from one star.
Ally McCoist slams Mikey Moore for missed chance in second half
Mikey Moore started the campaign terribly under Russell Martin, although he has found a new lease of life playing more centrally for Rohl.
In the second half, Moore found himself in on goal down the right-hand side of the box, but just dinked his shot at Bonmann, who gladly caught it.
Speaking on TNT Sports, McCoist didn’t get the 18-year-old’s thought process in the moment.
He said: “What are you doing? Get your foot through it.”
The English talent was then subbed off for Bojan Miovski in the 64th minute, and it’s certainly a display he’ll want to forget in a hurry.

Moore clearly just had a poor game on the right wing, and it’s not like him to be so indecisive in front of goal.
However, that sort of missed chance is criminal for a player of his quality, and it shows that Andreas Skov Olsen’s is desperately needed in attack.
Andreas Skov Olsen can’t come into the team soon enough
Skov Olsen was announced as a new Rangers player at Ibrox before they beat Annan Athletic 5-0 in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup on 16 January.
He has joined on loan for the rest of the season, with there being an option to sign him permanently for £8.6million.
The Denmark international moved to Wolfsburg from Club Brugge for £12m in January 2025, but he has failed to hit the ground running.
However, the 26-year-old was absolutely excellent during his spell at Belgian outfit Club Brugge between January 2022 and 2025.

The Dane has a lot to prove in G51, but his reputation of being an efficient goalscorer means the Bears will waste clear-cut chances far less often.
He could make his debut against Dundee in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday, and the fans will be excited to see how clinical he is in front of goal.
