Rangers fans told to expect another marquee signing after new Danny Rohl comments
Andrew Cavenagh may be looking to go all out in the January transfer window to capitalise on Rangers’ momentum.
Andreas Skov Olsen’s Ibrox arrival made it three new signings for Danny Rohl so far this window, with the Wolfsburg loanee possibly the biggest of them all.
The additions of Tochi Chukwuani and Tuur Rommens will provide the German head coach with more depth and quality, as the Bears want to complete a Scottish Premiership turnaround to win the league.
Rohl was asking for new additions in the January window, and that’s what he’s got so far, but he may have suggested that the Gers aren’t done yet.

Keith Jackson moots another statement signing from Rangers
Rangers will face Ludogorets Razgrad in the Europa League on Thursday, and in Rohl’s pre-match interview, he was asked about another “wow” signing after Skov Olsen.
The German head coach didn’t want to speak too much in case he got Gers supporters’ hopes up, but didn’t rule anything out.
| Team and position | Wins | Draws | Losses | Points |
| 23. Ludogorets Razgrad | 2 | 1 | 3 | 7 |
| 33. Rangers | 0 | 1 | 5 | 1 |
While speaking on the Daily Record’s Hotline Live, Keith Jackson weighed in on Rohl’s comments, suggesting that the Bears may yet have one more big name to come to Ibrox this month.
Jackson said: ““That sounds to me like Rangers think they’ve got a possible rabbit up their sleeve.
“[Rohl] said enough to make you think that he’s pretty confident that they do have something big still to come.
“Which is surprising because I think most looked at Skov Olsen and thought that would be the big capture of the window. It leads me to believe that they might have another of a similar stature in the pipeline.”
Who could the big signing be for Rangers?
Rangers have plenty of players out injured at the moment, but some are starting to make their way back.
Rohl has shown that he can make the Bears contenders to win the league despite a lack of quality in resources, as his new additions could change the whole picture.
Despite this, as Jackson suggested, Rangers could sign one more big-name player. That player could be Leeds United’s Joel Piroe.

Rangers could hijack Celtic’s attempts for Piroe due to the control that the 49ers have at Leeds. The striker won the Championship’s golden boot award last campaign, but has struggled for minutes in the Premier League.
The Dutchman is currently believed to want to stay at Leeds and fight for his place. But with the Whites eyeing a new number nine this window, Piroe could be tempted to become Rangers’ star man up top.
