Danny Rohl wants 49ers to react to ‘curveball’ as Rangers business not done
Rangers could be in for a busy end to the winter transfer window.
Danny Rohl has finally been getting the signings he’s been waiting for over the last week-and-a-half, with three new faces welcomed at Ibrox.
Andreas Skov Olsen completed his Rangers move on Friday, bolstering Rangers‘ attack significantly.
Tuur Rommens provides Rohl with his left-back solution, whilst Tochi Chukwuani’s arrival helps to shore up the depth in central midfield.
Rangers also reportedly have pre-contract deals lined up for players who will join them in the summer, showcasing a real effort being put into forward-planning.

Danny Rohl wants Connor Barron transfer response
Connor Barron has been superb for Rangers this season, but a knee injury picked up in the 2-0 win over Aberdeen on 6 January may see him sidelined for the next three months.
That’s a huge blow to Rohl and his midfield, and it has the potential to have a massive impact on Rangers’ chances of lifting the Premiership title.
However, Rohl is seemingly determined to not let Barron‘s injury be in vain, and wants to see a response in the market as such.

As per a report from the Rangers Review on Monday, Rohl has told Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers Enterprises that he would like to react to Barron’s “curveball” injury by dipping back into the market.
It’s also stated that should they indeed make moves on the incoming transfer front again, then Rangers would be most likely to strengthen in both midfield and attack.
Four Rangers exits could be imminent
It’s not all been about incomings at Ibrox this month, with a couple of young players loaned out, whilst the headline departure so far has been Oscar Cortes joining Huracan.
However, balancing the books is always crucially important, and whether further signings are made or not, the expectation is that activity is about to ramp up in regards to exits.
As per the same report from the Rangers Review, it’s suggested that all of Clinton Nsiala, Kieran Dowell, Joe Rothwell and Rabbi Matondo may have made their ‘farewell’ appearances in the 5-0 cup win over Annan on Friday.
Dowell scored the third goal in that win whilst Rothwell provided the assist, as Nsiala started alongside Nasser Djiga in central defence, whilst Matondo replaced Djeidi Gassama from the bench on 55 minutes.
