Rangers to unveil Danny Rohl’s third January signing as medical passed

Rangers are set to announce Andreas Skov Olsen as their new signing from VfL Wolfsburg.

The Denmark international will be the Gers’ third arrival in the winter transfer window after Tochi Chukwuani and Tuur Rommens.

Skov Olsen’s loan deal at Ibrox will include an option to buy for around £8.5million in the summer.

The 26-year-old has failed to live up to expectations in Germany, but those who saw him at Club Brugge will know what he’s all about.

Rangers announcement imminent for Andreas Skov Olsen transfer

Skov Olsen is expected to be unveiled by the Gers on Friday, according to Tipsbladet.

The news outlet has reported that the Danish national will be announced as a new signing at Ibrox on 16 January after passing his medical.

It’s been claimed that Wolfsburg also have bonuses and a resale percentage included if the Light Blues eventually trigger their purchase option.

Skov Olsen will be looking to kickstart his career at the Glaswegian outfit, and he’s set to be presented to the fans in G51 soon.

Rohl is expecting further additions at Ibrox, and it remains to be seen who they’ll target after completing a deal for the former Brugge winger.

It’s safe to say that Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises aren’t holding back and have exceptionally backed the German manager so far.

Who could be fourth signing at Ibrox under Danny Rohl?

Danilo and Nedim Bajrami have been transfer-listed in January, suggesting the Gers are making room for further additions.

Joe Rothwell, Kieran Dowell, Rabbi Matondo, Lyall Cameron and Findlay Curits have also been linked with a move away from Rangers.

Rangers’ top eight goalscorers in the league this season

What many fans in Ibrox have been concerned about this season is the lack of goals, with Youssef Chermiti and Bojan Miovski struggling for consistency.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see a new number nine arrive and be Rohl’s fourth signing of the winter transfer window, but only time will tell what the Glaswegian outfit have up their sleeves.
