Rangers transfer update emerges as bids ready for Silas Andersen

BK Hacken are expecting multiple offers for Rangers target Silas Anderson in the winter transfer window.

Bids for the Danish midfielder are expected to arrive in the coming days, with around three to five clubs in the race for his signature.

Andersen has been linked with a move to Ibrox, with the Gers said to be ahead of Celtic in the pursuit of potentially getting a deal over the line for the 21-year-old.

Danny Rohl is expecting Andreas Skov Olsen’s addition, having already got Tochi Chukwuani and Tuur Rommens, but the Glaswegian outfit’s business is expected to continue.

Rangers offer not on horizon for Silas Andersen deal

Hacken are looking to raise around £7million from the sale of Andersen in January, according to FotbollDirekt.

The news outlet reports on 15 January that while the Gers had been previously mentioned as a potential suitor for the Denmark Under-21 international, an offer from Ibrox isn’t expected.

It’s been claimed that the Light Blues are no longer being mentioned among the clubs interested in signing the defensive-midfielder.

Rohl has prioritised the number six position at Ibrox, and while Chukwuani has arrived in Govan, he mostly played as a left-midfielder for Sturm Graz this season.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Glaswegian outfit bolster their engine room soon after Connor Barron’s lengthy injury layoff, but a deal for Andersen seems to be off the table for now.

Stig Inge Bjornebye to push for midfield transfer at Ibrox

Jens Hjerto-Dahl could swap Tromso for Ibrox before Deadline Day, with the Gers heavily linked with him.

Andrew Cavengh appointed Stig Inge Bjornebye as a consultant at Rangers ahead of the winter transfer window, and his influence could potentially see them push for the 20-year-old midfielder.

The former Rosenborg sporting director may have connections in Norway to bring his compatriot to Glasgow.

With more signings anticipated at the Light Blues, fans in G51 will certainly be watching transfer developments closely.
