Jens Hjerto-Dahl approach on cards after new Danny Rohl admission following Rangers injury blow
Connor Barron is set to be sidelined for a few months after picking up an injury at Rangers.
The Scotsman has been a key player for the Gers in recent months, forming an exceptional partnership with Nicolas Raskin in the midfield.
Barron is now likely set to miss around eight to 12 weeks at Ibrox, but the Light Blues are already close to making additions to their engine room.

Rohl has admitted that the Gers will think about signing another player after Barron’s injury.
Chukwuani seems set to arrive at Ibrox in the coming hours, but losing the former Aberdeen midfielder might change the Light Blues’ recruitment strategy.
Jens Hjerto-Dahl has been linked as a priority target for Rohl, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Glaswegian outfit push for his signing in the winter transfer window.
Speaking to the media on 9 January, the 36-year-old head coach said, “Yeah. I think we’ve observed the market. We’ve said this before. But now, when you lose one midfielder, then you have to think about what could be anything else on top.”

The 24-year-old has hardly played for the Black Cats this season after helping them clinch promotion from the EFL Championship in the previous campaign.
Regis Le Bris seems open to sending the Englishman out on loan, and the Light Blues could soon have him at their disposal.
Even if Neil signs, a permanent transfer for Hjerto-Dahl, who has been nominated for Elisteserien’s Best Young Player Award, shouldn’t be ruled out, as he may be the successor to Raskin in G51.
