Barry Ferguson shares what he’s heard about Rangers vs Aberdeen postponement
Rangers and Aberdeen are fighting the weather to get their Scottish Premiership showdown started on Tuesday.
Rangers beat Celtic 3-1 on Saturday, and supporters are feeling rejuvenated under Danny Rohl after such a poor start to the season.
Rohl has done a fantastic job in Govan and has propelled the Bears back into the hunt for a first Scottish Premiership title since 2020-21.
Aberdeen visit Ibrox in what would be their first game since manager Jimmy Thelin was sacked, but Barry Ferguson believes they could struggle to even make it to G51.

Rangers vs Aberdeen in danger of being postponed
Rangers versus Aberdeen could be postponed, and although there were no initial fears of the game being called off, the icy and snowy roads in Scotland could have other plans for the match.
Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show Podcast on 6 January, Ferguson shared his concerns about the weather conditions on Wednesday.
He said: “I heard on the way in that there are a few rumours that Aberdeen may struggle to get out of Aberdeen.
“So there could be a chance that the game may get called off.”
With the temperature in Glasgow set to hit a low of minus one degree Celsius, the icy conditions could leave the Aberdeen squad struggling to make the 150-mile trip to Glasgow.

This would be disastrous for Rohl, who is eager to get his players back on the pitch after Saturday’s result, keeping the momentum flowing.
Rangers’ record against Aberdeen makes for excellent reading
The Bears have another reason for wanting the game to go ahead, which is their impressive record against Aberdeen.
Rangers have won their last four home matches against the Dons, with the last meeting ending 4-0 in May.
| Games played | 206 |
| Wins | 99 |
| Draws | 49 |
| Losses | 58 |
Youssef Chermiti has just recorded his two best performances since joining the Light Blues, and he would be relishing the prospect of coming up against this fragile Aberdeen defence.
The likes of Dujon Sterling and John Souttar are starting to gain momentum after lengthy spells on the sidelines, while Nico Raskin and Connor Barron are forming an impressive partnership at the heart of midfield.
All in all, Rangers are in a brilliant position to beat Aberdeen and apply some pressure on league leaders Hearts.
However, if the game is postponed, it would be a significant blow to Rohl’s side.
