Danny Rohl must put an end to Rangers tomfoolery, it’ll derail Ibrox title bid
Rangers’ 3-1 victory over Celtic on Saturday caused wild celebrations for both supporters and players, but Danny Rohl needs to be careful
Rangers went level on points with their arch-rivals, and just six points off Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts, after a fantastic turnaround at Parkhead.
The result is the pinnacle of Rohl’s stint at Rangers so far, and him and his side should be proud that they have dragged themselves back into contention.
While they should be happy about having the Old Firm bragging rights and potentially ending Wilfried Nancy’s reign, the German needs to keep a handle on things.
Rangers players need to keep focus after post-Celtic antics
The likes of Dujon Sterling and Nicolas Raskin posted about Rangers’ exploits on social media, mocking their arch-rivals.
The players were welcomed back to Ibrox with chants and fireworks after the memorable win, but they cannot afford to get complacent.
There is still work to be done to catch the Jambos and fully overtake the Hoops, so the tomfoolery must end, and Rohl must ensure that his players are not distracted.

The Gers have not exactly put together many winning runs so far this season, so there are improvements that need to be made before they are bona fide title favourites.
What are Rangers’ title chances after Celtic win?
The win against Nancy’s side was impressive, but the Gers were outplayed for much of the contest, which should be a concern for Rohl.
They are still third in the league, and it remains to be seen whether they can catch up with Derek McInnes’ side, who beat them just a few weeks ago.
They will likely need a significant winning run, which will require the players to be fully focused on the task in hand, not winding up the opposition on social media.
Obviously, they are allowed to celebrate a big win, when people had written them off, but they cannot go overboard and let it define their season.
It has to be just the start of something magical, otherwise, the antics will look pretty silly at the end of the campaign, and it could derail their bid for the championship.
