Celtic vs Rangers postponement latest as Met Office issue new snow and ice warning for Scotland
Rangers face Celtic in the third Old Firm derby of the season on Saturday, but weather conditions could have an impact on proceedings.
Rangers come into the game off the back of a 2-1 win over St Mirren, with Thelo Aasgaard and Emmanuel Fernandez on the scoresheet for the Gers.
As for Celtic, they missed the chance to go joint-top of the Scottish Premiership with Hearts on Tuesday evening, losing 2-0 to Motherwell at Fir Park.
It means a win in the derby would take Danny Rohl’s side level on points with their Glasgow rivals, and put them right back in the title race.

Yellow weather warning ahead of Rangers vs Celtic
Rangers and Celtic drew 0-0 back at the end of August in what has been their only Scottish Premiership meeting so far this season.
The Glasgow pair also met in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final, with the Hoops winning a controversial tie 3-1 after extra time.
This weekend’s clash will be the first time that Rohl and under-pressure Celtic boss Wilfried Nancy have faced off, but the derby could be affected by adverse conditions.
The Met Office on Wednesday issued a yellow weather warning for ice and snow just outside the Glasgow area on Saturday, with temperatures expected to drop to -2°C early on the morning of the game.

Kick-off is scheduled for 12:30pm at Celtic Park, and there is currently no threat of postponement, but supporters should check conditions before they travel in case of any delays.
Rangers have golden chance vs Celtic
Celtic are currently in disarray under Nancy, as the Frenchman has lost five of his seven games in charge of the Glasgow side.
The Hoops’ poor form presents Rangers with a golden chance to propel themselves right back into the Scottish Premiership title race.
If Rohl’s side secures all three points on Saturday, they will go level with Celtic in the table, and potentially above them if the margin of victory is three or more goals.
| Position | Team | Games | GD | Points |
| 1 | Hearts | 19 | 21 | 41 |
| 2 | Celtic | 19 | 15 | 38 |
| 3 | Rangers | 19 | 11 | 35 |
With the game being an early kick-off as well, Rangers would move just three points behind league leaders Hearts with a win, and really put the pressure on Derek McInnes’ side ahead of their clash with bottom-club Livingston.
