Danny Rohl clearly pushing Rangers forward out after what’s seen in win vs Motherwell

Danny Rohl got back to winning ways as Rangers beat Motherwell 1-0 in the William Hill Premiership on Saturday.

Jens Berthel Askou’s team travelled to Ibrox on Saturday, with Thelo Aasgaard’s 67th-minute strike sealing the three points for the Gers.

Jack Butland came to Rohl’s rescue against Motherwell, with multiple crucial saves over the 90 minutes to secure the victory for the Light Blues.

Despite the win, the Glaswegian outfit evidently need a squad overhaul in January after how the season has gone, and the German manager may have already given players with no immediate future in G51 a hint.

Findlay Curtis should leave Rangers in January for his sake

Findlay Curtis emerged as a hero for the Gers at the start of the season, with the Scottish youngster expected to finally break out in Govan.

Instead, the 19-year-old has found game time hard to come by at Ibrox, with his prospects dwindling further since Rohl replaced Russell Martin.

While Curtis had started in the recent wins over Kilmarnock and Hibernian, he found himself back on the bench against Hearts and Motherwell.

The Scottish youngster has made 15 appearances across all competitions for the Light Blues this season, scoring three goals, with an average rating of 6.8, as per Sofascore.

Despite the winger’s evident impact whenever he plays, registering 1.11 key passes, 2.87 shots and 4.2 touches in the opposition box per 90, he’s averaged just 31 minutes per game.

Aasgaard has come in for heavy criticism at Ibrox this season, yet Rohl seems to trust him more than Curtis, playing him out wide against the Steelmen, which may be a hint for the Scottish youngster to leave on loan in January.

Bailey Rice is expected to leave Rangers as a free agent, with Aston Villa and Sunderland keeping close tabs on him.

The Gers seem to have lost the will to develop players and play homegrown talents, which has been a bedrock of their success throughout history.

With Curtis also arguably being pushed out of the Light Blues, it doesn’t look like Auchenhowie is going to produce an exciting talent anytime soon.

It would make sense for the Scottish forward to leave the Glaswegian outfit and further his development elsewhere after demonstrating exceptional potential this season.
