Rangers vs Motherwell injury latest as 12 players to miss out at Ibrox
Rangers and Motherwell will both have significant absentees when they face off on Saturday.
Rangers were defeated 2-1 at Hearts as they took a significant setback in the Scottish Premiership race, and they will be hoping to bounce back.
However, the Well will not be a walkover and the Gers will have to be at their best in front of their own supporters if they are to take all three points.
Danny Rohl has several injury concerns for the Ibrox encounter, but the visitors have their own issues to deal with on 27 December.

Rohl shares Rangers team news for Motherwell clash
Rangers could welcome John Souttar back shortly, but the clash with the Well is expected to come too soon for the Scotland international.
Rohl shared an update on the defender’s progress, saying: “John was good yesterday, he trained for the first time as part of the session.
“Let’s see what it means today and tomorrow, but it’s a huge step, I’m not sure if it’s enough for the weekend, but with the games coming now, it helps.
“Could be [ready for St Mirren], yeah. I think when you play every three days, then you have to see, but the big step was yesterday, to come back to a training session. He looks good, he looks fit, this is great.”
He also mentioned Oliver Antman, Nedim Bajrami and Derek Cornelius in his pre-match press conference on 23 December, saying: “All the other players, not really new information. Oli makes steps forward, Nedim’s scan was positive, but it needs a couple more days.
“Hopefully I didn’t forget someone. Derek is a long-term, I think it is maybe February.”
Nasser Djiga is also not in contention as he is away at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Who is missing for Motherwell as they make Rangers trip?
The visitors come to Govan in brilliant form, having gone 10 matches unbeaten in the league, but they have a raft of absentees for the contest.
Jens Berthal Askou is expected to be without seven players for the clash with the Gers, including Tawanda Maswanhise, who is at AFCON.
Filip Stuparevic remains sidelined with an anterior cruciate ligament issue, while Sam Nicholson is also predicted to miss the game with a knee injury.
West Brom loanee Eseosa Sule is still out, Aston Oxborough is still recovering from a broken arm, and the weekend will come too soon for Zach Robinson and Jordan McGhee.
Given the visitors’ injury concerns, Rohl will hope that his side can get back to winning ways and rebound from the chastening defeat to the league leaders last time out.
However, the injuries that he has to deal with could prove the difference between the sides if the Light Blues are not at their best, but it is not an excuse, given that their opposition have more issues.
