Thierry Henry must be secret Rangers fan after what he said about Wilfried Nancy
Thierry Henry has shared a verdict on under-fire Celtic boss Wilfried Nancy that will lead to plenty of laughter among Rangers fans.
Nancy has been tipped for the Celtic sack after leading the Hoops to four losses in his first four games in charge, including a defeat in the final of the Premier Sports Cup.
Rangers fans have taken delight in Celtic’s meltdown over the past few days, as the French head coach has already been subjected to criticism from supporters.
Celtic may have actually made a worse appointment than Russell Martin after all, and the Bears can now capitalise on it as a result.
However, what Arsenal legend Henry has just said about Nancy makes him look like a Rangers fan at heart.

Thierry Henry says Celtic need to let Wilfried Nancy ‘cook’
Danny Rohl has got off to a great start for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership and has the Bears sitting three points behind the Bhoys in third place.
The Bears have every chance of catching Celtic with Nancy in charge, as Gers supporters will want this to drag on for as long as possible.
- Celtic have conceded 10 goals in their first four games under Nancy
- They have only scored three goals
- Rangers face the Hoops next on 3 January at Celtic Park
As quoted by Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph on Thursday, through X, Henry has claimed that he believes Nancy should be given more time at Celtic.
Henry said: “Let him cook and judge him maybe at the end of the season.”
Given the early data on the 48-year-old, Celtic are only going in one direction under his management.

Rangers average 2.50 points per game under Danny Rohl
While Rangers’ Europa League campaign has crashed and burned this season, the Bears are still right in the thick of title contention for the league.
Rangers have won six of their eight games in the Scottish Premiership with Rohl at the helm, drawing the other two.
This means that the Bears average a points per game of 2.50.

Celtic are only above Rangers due to the bounce that Martin O’Neill gave them when he rejoined the club earlier this campaign, and have shown no signs of progression with Nancy.
If things continue the way they are going, Rangers will breeze past Celtic and pip Hearts for the Scottish Premiership title.
