Rangers will love what Wilfried Nancy posted on social media as Celtic sent into meltdown

Wilfried Nancy has continued to baffle both Celtic and Rangers supporters with his antics.

Celtic hired Nancy as head coach to replace Martin O’Neill, something which certainly raised eyebrows at Parkhead.

There were still reservations away from Celtic Park, with Sam Allardyce baffled by Nancy and his appointment.

The Ibrox faithful have been pleased to see Nancy struggle in the early stages of his Celtic spell, including cup final defeat against St Mirren.

Nancy hasn’t helped himself with his recent comments in interviews and has now caused a total tailspin with his latest social media actions.

Wilfried Nancy causes fury with Celtic fans

Nancy already has a worse domestic record than Russell Martin managed in Govan before he was sacked in the deserved fashion.

That screams volumes about just how poor the Frenchman has been for the Hoops, especially after the upturn in form with O’Neill in charge.

The new Celtic boss has made comments that have angered supporters, suggesting that he doesn’t care about winning or winning trophies as manager.

That was one thing, but taking sly digs at his new fan base on social media is something that only the Rangers fans are going to appreciate.

An X account by the username @wilfriednancy has emerged, and it does appear to be the head coach based on its previous activity.

His latest post came on 16 December and featured an image suggesting “What you should focus on” in what seems to be a pointer towards Celtic fans.

It is fair to say that this hasn’t gone down well at Parkhead, but it doesn’t seem as if the sack is in the pipeline right now.

Rangers fans will love Nancy antics at Celtic

There are plenty of posts to this X account that point towards the Frenchman having control.

The account is also confirmed to have been set up in Canada, something which fits in with Nancy, based on his prior role with Montreal.

The fact that he is taking aim at supporters at this early stage of his Celtic career is unlikely to go down well, but Rangers won’t care.

Issues have been plentiful at Ibrox this season, but it finally looks as if the situation at Parkhead is growing worse than the Gers.
