Keith Jackson slams two Rangers stars that should leave fans ‘terrified’ at Ibrox
Danny Rohl has been left to pick up the pieces of a shocking summer at Rangers.
Rangers’ disastrous transfer window has been a huge reason why the Bears have struggled in both domestic and continental competitions, with many players failing to adapt to Scottish football.
Rohl has somewhat steadied the ship, to his credit, remaining unbeaten in his first eight Scottish Premiership matches, although failing to win in Europe.
Rangers travel to face Hearts on Sunday, and thankfully for the supporters, Bojan Miovski will be fit to lead the line at Tynecastle.
The North Macedonian has stepped up his game in recent weeks, but the same can’t be said for Oliver Antman or Youssef Chermiti.

Keith Jackson delivers verdicts on Oliver Antman and Youssef Chermiti
Chermiti joined Rangers for £10million from Everton on 1 September, and has registered just two goal contributions in 18 appearances.
Kevin Thelwell’s expensive gamble hasn’t paid off, and the underlying stats are highlighting a growing feeling that the 21-year-old may never be good enough to lead the line for the Bears.
Speaking on the Daily Record Hotline Live on 16 December, Keith Jackson couldn’t hold back on his words for Chermiti and Antman.
He said: “Chermiti looks nowhere near it, and Rangers fans should be terrified at that.
“Antman came in, there was a buzz of excitement over what he might do, but he looks so far off it, it’s frightening.
“He was someone who was meant to bring some creativity to the wider areas for Rangers, and it’s terrifying.”
| Chermiti | Stat | Antman |
| 10 | Appearances | 6 |
| 1 | Goals | 0 |
| 1 | Assists | 1 |
| 11 | Shots | 9 |
| 4 | Chances created | 15 |
Chermiti will always be judged by his price tag at Ibrox, and his lack of quality has been brutally exposed throughout the campaign.
As for Antman, he is yet to score a single goal for the Bears, and he is currently out with an injury that will keep him sidelined until the end of January.
Despite having an incredible season in the Netherlands, Antman has only started six of Rangers’ 13 Scottish Premiership matches this season, and he is clearly low on confidence under Rohl.
Having joined from Go Ahead Eagles for up to £5million in the summer transfer window, the 24-year-old still has a lot to prove before he can remotely be considered as a successful signing.
However, Jackson did shed some praise on the emergence of Mikey Moore.
Mikey Moore is proving to be a bright spark under Danny Rohl
Moore started the campaign terribly under Russell Martin, although he has found a new lease of life playing more centrally for Rohl.
Jackson added: “The only player on the team who looks up for it is a school kid on loan from Tottenham.”
Technically brilliant on the ball, Moore has thrived playing just in behind the striker instead of being left isolated out wide.
The 18-year-old can turn out to be a key player for the Bears this season, and every good performance he has just highlights Martin’s ineptitude while he was at the helm.
