Tam McManus cannot believe what he saw in Rangers win vs Hibernian – ‘Depressing’
Rangers returned to winning ways against Hibernian on Monday evening.
It was a hard watch at Ibrox on 15 December, but Rangers beat Hibs 1-0 thanks to a late Emmanuel Fernandez header in the first half.
Danny Rohl’s squad was decimated by injuries, with Youssef Chermiti starting and once again failing to make any sort of impact.
Many expected Hibs to pose more of a threat, but Rangers managed to roll through them with relative ease despite their limited squad.

Hibernian dubbed depressing at Ibrox
Tam McManus was stumped by the win for Rangers, admitting they were one of the worst Ibrox sides he has ever seen.
Taking to X after the Monday showdown, the ex-Hibs midfielder could not believe what he had seen from his former side yet again in Glasgow.
“Three games versus Rangers,” McManus wrote.
“No goals, no points and knocked out of a cup versus genuinely one of the worst Rangers teams I have ever seen.
“Depressing watch, never looked like scoring all night.”
The win takes Rangers to third in the Scottish Premiership, with Hibs now fifth, just ahead of the split with Falkirk three points behind.
Wins all that matter for Rangers
Rohl was left fuming after the defeat against Ferencvaros, and he won’t have been much happier here.
The Light Blues were slow and tepid, yet it was enough to earn all three points without the likes of Nico Raskin or Djeidi Gassama starting.
Rangers are going to spend again in January, that is no secret, with another squad shake-up on the cards after the awful summer under Kevin Thelwell.
It doesn’t get any easier before then, though, with Rangers at Tynecastle to take on league leaders Hearts on Sunday afternoon.
If Rohl and the Bears want to be in title contention, they simply have to take another three points from Edinburgh opposition, or they can wave goodbye.
With some big names rested on Monday and hopefully some returning from injury, Rangers will be confident they can finally take a big scalp this season.
