Dujon Sterling sensational as 3/10 horrendous again – Rangers player ratings vs Hibernian
Rangers bounced back from their Europa League defeat to Ferencvaros with a 1-0 win over Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership.
Danny Rohl made five changes to the Rangers team that lost 2-1 to Ferencvaros on Thursday night, and that included a first start of the season for Dujon Sterling following injury and Youssef Chermiti.
The Light Blues made a slow start to the contest at Ibrox, in truth, and some better finishing from Hibernian could have seen them go one or two nil up.
Fortunately, a wonderful cross from Sterling in the 35th minute was glanced into the back of the net by Emmanuel Fernandez, and that saw Rohl’s men go in at half-time 1-0 up.
The rest of the game was nervy for Rangers as Hibs continued to threaten, although they managed to hold out for all three points.

Dujon Sterling was excellent for Rangers vs Hibernian
An underwhelming Rangers performance was saved by the brilliance of Sterling, and fans would have been delighted with his display on his first start since April.
Starting as a right-back behind Max Aarons, the 26-year-old saved his side with a goal-line clearance in the first period, before providing the wonderful curling cross for Fernandez’s glancing header.
The former Chelsea youngster was solid defensively and threatening in attack, with Sterling unimpressed by his teammates’ lack of movement against Hibs.
After seven months out, Sterling performed like he’d never been away, and with Nasser Djiga heading to AFCON, it’s an excellent opportunity for the right back to impress even more.

Youssef Chermiti’s struggles continued against Hibs
When Rohl named his starting lineup against Hibs, supporters were baffled that Youssef Chermiti was included.
Chermiti has been poor for Rangers since joining in a £10million transfer from Everton in the summer, and his worrying form continued on Monday night.
The Portuguese international didn’t press enough or hold up the ball for his teammates and bring them into play, while one of his shots in the first half went out for a throw-in, summing up his difficult start to life at Ibrox.
Chermiti was dropped for the defeat to Ferencvaros, and after watching him struggle to score for the fourth league game running, Bojan Miovski may get the nod against Hearts on Sunday.
