Who is Rangers wonderkid Kyle Glasgow amid new Portugal call-up?
Rangers gem Kyle Glasgow has earned a shock call-up to represent Portugal’s Under-16s next week.
The 15-year-old has already trained with Danny Rohl‘s first-team, and is set for another huge milestone as he has earned a place in Felipe Ramos’s ranks.
The attacking midfielder is just one of two players playing outside of Portugal to be named in the 22-man squad.
Here, Ibrox News profiles the wonderkid, who is amongst the headlines in Govan at the moment.

How does he qualify for Portugal?
With a surname of Glasgow, the Ibrox prodigy should be destined for a place in the Scottish national team.
However, despite playing in Scotland’s youth teams, he qualifies for Portugal through his mother, and they have taken an interest in him.
It is believed that the Selecao are keeping a close eye on his progress with the Light Blues.
Why is Glasgow so highly rated at Rangers?
Glasgow’s standout performances for the Govan outfit have led to huge excitement about his potential at Auchenhowie.
He can play as a number 10 or on either flank, and is understood to be a regular goalscorer in the youth ranks.
Glasgow made headlines when he struck a stunning 25-year volley at the Alkass International Cup in February in Qatar against local side Mohamed VI Academy.
He seems set to be a star of the future for the Gers, but as his reputation increases, there may be question marks over whether the Glasgow side can match his ambitions.
The Light Blues have been criticised for not making the most of the talents at their disposal, and if they are to keep Glasgow around, they need to make sure that he is given opportunities to break through.
Bailey Rice looks set to leave Rangers in the summer, which highlights the issues that they have had when it comes to handing chances to their youth.
It seems like the 49ers Enterprises group and Andrew Cavenagh are working to improve that, with several key hires in that department, and that is encouraging, but whether it is enough, remains to be seen.
