Supercomputer predicts result of Ferencvaros vs Rangers in Europa League
Danny Rohl is desperate to improve Rangers’ woeful Europa League campaign as they face Hungarian side Ferencvaros on Thursday.
Rangers are sat 33rd in the Europa League table after gaining just one point from their opening five games, and Ferencvaros are the next side that stands in the way of Rohl.
The Bears have been disastrous in Europe this season, and a loss to Ferencvaros would surely eliminate them from the competition.
Rohl is still unbeaten in the Scottish Premiership, but it is on the continent where he has struggled to produce a spurring fightback.
Rangers drew 1-1 with Braga at Ibrox in their last European match, and they must go one step further away at the Hungarian champions on 11 December.

Ferencvaros predicted as heavy favourites to beat Rangers
It doesn’t get much tougher for the Light Blues than Ferencvaros, who are unbeaten in their first five games of the league phase.
Their last match in Europe saw them draw away to Fenerbahce, and they sit sixth in the table with three wins and two draws from their opening fixtures.
According to Opta‘s supercomputer, Rangers will be eliminated from the Europa League by suffering a loss at the Groupama Arena.
- Ferencvaros have been given a 55.0 per cent chance of claiming all three points
- Rangers have a 21.8 per cent chance of securing back-to-back victories for the first time under Rohl
- A draw has been given a 23.2 per cent probability of occurring
The positive omen for Rohl’s side is that Ferencvaros have dropped points at home to Viktoria Plzen, a team they beat under Russell Martin in their Champions League qualification campaign in August.
However, Rangers will need to showcase a level in Europe not seen under Rohl if they want to secure all three points.
Rangers beat Kilmarnock 3-0 on Saturday, and the talking point of the game was Bojan Miovski’s stunning performance up front.
Bojan Miovski will surely start over Youssef Chermiti vs Ferencvaros
The North Macedonia international has certainly failed to deliver for the Bears so far and has been subjected to extensive criticism.
However, Miovski scored a brace against Kilmarnock on 6 December, doubling his overall goal tally to four in a Rangers shirt.
Youssef Chermiti has been given the nod throughout the Europa League campaign, but with so much on the line, he looks to be the forward that Rohl counts on the least.
Miovski has finally shown what he is capable of with his performance at Rugby Park, and it would be a huge shock if Rohl were to leave him out of the side.
If he does play, a good display against Ferencvaros could completely kickstart his career for the Light Blues.
