SPFL to take ‘dim view’ of what Rangers fans have just done with sanction hanging over Ibrox
Rangers could soon face scrutiny from the SPFL.
The Gers have struggled for consistency this campaign, but did get back to winning ways as Rangers secured a 3-0 win away to Kilmarnock.
Bojan Miovski scored against Kilmarnock as he ended his barren spell at Ibrox and helped Danny Rohl’s side to a first three points since mid-November.
There were a number of positive performers, with Jack Butland putting on an excellent showcase against Kilmarnock, but there were concerns to take away from Rugby Park.
It was the actions of supporters in KA1 that caught the eye for all the wrong reasons and could result in punishment from the SPFL.

Rangers could face SPFL punishment after Kilmarnock antics
Mohamed Diomande came under fire at Kilmarnock after a quiet performance, but he has been helped by a better result than expected.
The Light Blues had drawn their previous three in all competitions and, even with a win, remain fourth in the Scottish Premiership table.

There have been a number of boardroom changes in recent weeks, but further frustration could be on the cards moving forward.
The Bears put on a pyrotechnic display at Rugby Park, with a large number of flares contributing to a fiery look to the stands.
Calum Rowe has suggested via the Scottish Mail on Sunday that the SPFL are unlikely to look upon this favourably based on previous issues in Govan.
He said: “A pyro display from the Rangers fans before kick-off saw the pitch engulfed in smoke. The SPFL are likely to take a dim view of that, given the club already had a suspended sanction already hanging over them for previous offences.“
Rangers fans causing further frustration at Ibrox
This season has been far from ideal for the Light Blues, with results and performances being far from what supporters have expected.
Russell Martin failed, and Rohl is doing his utmost to change the tide, with a 3-0 win away to Kilmarnock being another plus on his record.
The antics of fans aren’t really helping to change things, with these sorts of pyro displays causing more problems than they are worth.
Fans in Europe are typically famed for these sorts of showings, but it looks more likely to end in a fine or sanction for Rangers in an already over-turbulent campaign.
