Rangers player’s career already over after bargain Jens Hjerto-Dahl transfer
Rangers are attracted by the prospect of signing Tromso midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl for a bargain transfer fee.
GiveMeSport reported on 4 December that the Gers are among the clubs showing “genuine interest” in the 20-year-old.
Danny Rohl will be hoping for new signings at Ibrox in January, and it remains to be seen whether the Light Blues’ interest in the Norway Under-21 international leads to a concrete offer in the coming weeks.
Nicolas Raskin and Connor Barron seem to be the preferred midfield pairing at the Glaswegian outfit right now, and while their futures may be secure in G51, the same may not be true for others.

Lyall Cameron exit on cards at Rangers
It’s been claimed that Hjerto-Dahl isn’t expected to cost a lot, and the young midfielder arguably doesn’t pose a major financial risk for those looking to sign him.
Scouts have been impressed by the Norwegian talent’s maturity, although there is acceptance that he still has a long way to go before being considered a finished article.

The young midfielder’s current contract expires in 2027, and with the winter transfer window on the horizon, his situation at Tromso is being monitored.
While the Gers certainly have Hjerto-Dahl on their radar, he isn’t someone considered a priority target right now.

But if the Light Blues do end up reinforcing their engine room with the Norwegian ace, Lyall Cameron may have to force his way out of Ibrox.
The former Dundee midfielder has struggled for game time at the Glaswegian outfit under Rohl, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see his career in G51 end already.
Nicolas Raskin to stay at Ibrox after recent developments
Nicolas Raskin’s current contract at Ibrox expires in 2028, giving the Gers some leverage over his future.
It was previously understood that the Belgium international would have just one year left on his deal at the end of the season, but that isn’t the case.
As a result, the Light Blues can certainly afford to keep him beyond the current campaign and then cash in on him in the summer of 2027.
The 24-year-old is undoubtedly the most talented player at the Glaswegian outfit, and he may be influential in helping them back to winning titles soon.
