Michael Stewart drops outrageous Rangers prediction that’ll leave fans baffled

Michael Stewart doesn’t think that Rangers will finish above Hearts in the Scottish Premiership come the end of the season.

Since Danny Rohl replaced Russell Martin, the Gers have looked like a threat once again and are starting to build an identity.

Rangers drew 0-0 with Falkirk on Sunday, and the result was just the first time that the Bears have dropped points under Rohl in the league.

Stewart‘s claim has been made even more insulting considering what position he thinks the Gers will finish in.

Michael Stewart had to fight back laughter in Rangers claim

Rangers have indeed been poor in the Europa League this season, but Hearts have an advantage over the Gers in the fact that they don’t have to play so many games.

Hearts deserve credit; they’ve only lost once in the league this season, but the same goes for Rangers.

While speaking on Premier Sports TV, Stewart dared to put Rangers below Celtic, and perhaps even worse, below Hearts, when predicting what the top six will look like at the end of the campaign.

Stewart said that Celtic will win the league, with Hearts coming second and Gers in third, in a truly uneducated guess.

He even scoffed when Alan Hutton predicted Gers to finish second above Hearts.

But with the way things are going at the moment, Stewart could have egg on his face when it’s all said and done.

Rangers will finish above Hearts, here’s why

Hearts are currently top of the league with a nine-point gap on the Bears, who are still recovering after Rohl picked up Martin’s mess.

However, Rangers play Dundee United on Wednesday, and another win would pile even more pressure on the Jambos.

The Bears even have a game in hand on Hearts, and all Rohl needs is one successful transfer window and Rangers will steam past Derek McInnes’ side.

It seems like people are still writing the Gers off, and that’s only a good thing because it means less pressure on Rohl.

Rangers are bound to catch everyone by surprise, and the climb up the table will continue under the German genius.
