Nedim Bajrami point made loud and clear after what he did in Rangers draw vs Falkirk
Nedim Bajrami’s Rangers career could be set for a revival after being one of the only players to turn up in Rangers’ 0-0 draw against Falkirk on Sunday.
Rangers played dreadfully in the draw to Falkirk, with the attacking players unable to convert their limited chances against the visitors’ backline.
Bajrami joined Rangers from Sassuolo in August 2024 and made 44 appearances last season under Philippe Clement and Barry Ferguson.
However, he has rarely been given the chance to replicate his minutes from last season, and his future at G51 is clearly in doubt.
The Albania international was given his first start under Danny Rohl, and he proved to be the shining light in what was a poor display from the Bears.

Nedim Bajrami stand out on left wing for Rangers
Bajrami has been linked with a Rangers exit in the January transfer window, with the Bears continuing their full-scale rebuild under Danny Rohl.
Playing a position that Djeidi Gassama has flourished in for the Light Blues, there was certainly a lot of pressure on the 26-year-old to seize his opportunity.
According to Sofascore, Bajrami completed four dribbles – the most of any player in the match – while also winning 10 ground duels.
| Rangers | Stat | Falkirk |
| 60% | Possession | 40% |
| 86% | Pass accuracy | 74% |
| 14 | Shots | 5 |
| 2.00 | Expected goals | 0.13 |
| 59% | Ground duels won | 41% |
The Bears dominated the contest, and poor finishing has been a key theme of their struggles this season as boos rang out at Ibrox after the match.
With the likes of Mikey Moore, Djeidi Gassama and Oliver Antman all coming in over the summer, it has left Bajrami with little chance of proving himself under Rohl.
Bajrami will be clearly frustrated with his lack of minutes at Rangers, although recent performances will certainly make Rohl think that he could play a part in the rest of the campaign.

Despite his promising performance in G51, it might not change the grand course of his career in Govan.

Nedim Bajrami could be a victim of Rangers’ summer recruitment
Rohl is still deciding who he can trust from the group of players he inherited in October.
While Bajrami has done all he can, it certainly feels as if January will bring a whole host of changes to the dressing room, and he is currently on the periphery.
With 14 new faces coming through the door in the summer transfer window, it has contributed to Bajrami being overlooked so far this season.
The Bears desperately need to trim the size of their squad, and unfortunately for the 26-year-old, he could be one of the first victims.
