£260,000 termination fee revealed for Rangers new signing, January deal worth over £4.3m

Given Jayden Meghoma’s poor form for Rangers, there have been plenty of rumours that the wide man could soon be replaced.
Now, according to BILD on 27 November, Yilmaz could soon be on his way to Rangers.
Freiburg could recall the full-back in January for £260,000. However, a mid-season departure is “off the table”, with Yilmaz comfortable at Nurnberg and determined to stay and finish the season.

In the summer, his future is less clear. While Freiburg are planning to keep the youngster long-term, there is plenty of interest across Europe.
Rangers and Toulouse are interested in Yilmaz ahead of the January transfer window in addition to numerous Dutch clubs.
On top of this, teams from the Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga are also keen, with the full-back planning to play in one of these leagues next season.
If he is to depart, Freiburg are set to demand £4.38million.
How good is Yilmaz?
According to Sofascore on 28 November, Yilmaz has seriously impressed in the German second-tier.
To date, he has already created six big chances as well as performing 5.85 ground duels won per game.
Therefore, the signing of the full-back could prove to be an excellent upgrade on Meghoma.
With Danny Rohl potentially having less money to spend at Rangers, the addition could quickly become a bargain at Ibrox.
Hopefully, the Gers will take the necessary steps to beat their rivals and secure the deal.
