Youssef Chermiti exit clause could be agreed as Rangers set for more backlash
Youssef Chermiti has not enjoyed a brilliant start at Rangers.
Kevin Thelwell signed Chermiti from Everton for up to £10million, with Russell Martin not able to get the best out of him before he was sacked.
Danny Rohl has since come in and used the Portuguese international more, but Chermiti only has one goal against Kilmarnock to show for it.
After a desperate start, Ibrox News has learned that Chermiti could leave Rangers on loan, with Braga one of several clubs tracking his situation.
That could lead to further backlash, though.

Chermiti clause could be agreed at Rangers
Chermiti leaving Rangers already, even if on loan, would be an acceptance of failure.
Dan Plumley has insisted that backlash would instantly follow that, with the pressure of Ibrox clearly too much for some to cope with.
The football finance expert shared that a simple loan could work, but adding a buy obligation in any temporary deal could protect Rangers down the line.
“You’re going to get backlash if it goes that way,” he exclusively told Ibrox News.
“We know the scrutiny that Rangers are under and already the pressure that Danny Rohl has been under, so the expectations are always going to be high.
“I think if you are going to go down that road and do that deal and say that this transfer isn’t working for us, there are options you can do, do you put a loan to buy obligation for wherever he goes? Or do you say, find your form, come back, and we’ll go again next season?

“There are a couple of ways you can work it, but given the transfer fee and scrutiny around Rangers, if it does go that way, there’s going to be a fair bit of backlash and they’re going to have to deal with it.”
Braga could sign Youssef Chermiti
An interesting sub-plot is the interest from Braga.
Rangers have been dreadful in the Europa League this season, and sit rock bottom of the league phase, last losing to AS Roma at Ibrox.
The Light Blues return to action on 27 November and welcome Braga to Ibrox, who could be taking on Chermiti as the number nine.
Should he impress, their interest could increase, but that would also see Rangers likely want to keep hold of their big-money signing.
Anything could happen between now and January.
