Danny Rohl told all he needed to know on Bojan Miovski after international exploits away from Rangers
Danny Rohl will be delighted to see the impact that Bojan Miovski made away from Rangers on the international stage this week.
The former Aberdeen striker completed his return to Scotland in the latter stages of the summer transfer window for a fee of around £4.2million, but things haven’t gone to plan for him at Ibrox so far.
Miovski has struggled for form at Rangers in his opening months at the club, and he has just one goal to his name from his first eight appearances back in Scottish football.
The lack of form from the 26-year-old and his fellow strikers has left Rohl with a selection conundrum of late, but any doubts over Miovski have now been eradicated after his display on international duty.

Danny Rohl must persist with Bojan Miovski after goal for North Macedonia
Miovski’s position at Rangers has already been questioned following his surprisingly slow start on his return to Premiership action.
The North Macedonia international was prolific for Aberdeen across his previous spell in Scotland, as he managed 16 league goals in each of his two full campaigns.
However, he failed to continue that goalscoring form in Spain with Girona, and that has carried over into his time at Ibrox so far.
- Miovski scored with his only shot of the game against Wales
- It was his ninth goal for his country from 38 senior caps
- It was his first goal in 12 games across club and international action
Nevertheless, the frontman’s exploits for his country on Tuesday night will surely have proven to Rohl that he needs to keep the faith in him, despite his recent struggles.
North Macedonia were on the wrong end of a 7-1 rout against Wales in their final World Cup qualifier, but Miovski netted his team’s only goal with a clinical finish after he was set through against the goalkeeper.
While his goal was ultimately meaningless in the context of the game, it could mean the world to Miovski moving forward.

The confidence should come flooding back into him after that goal, and it should also have made it abundantly clear to Rohl that he must still be the first-choice to lead the line.
Bojan Miovski must start for Rangers vs Livingston
Rohl may have been keen to axe Miovski for Saturday’s meeting with Livingston, but that could be about to change after his goal in midweek.
The German needs to play on the forward’s performance for his country, and must give him the opportunity to try and find the back of the net once again.
Strikers heavily rely on confidence in front of goal, and if Miovski could find the back of the net for Rangers again this weekend, then it could unlock the player that everyone in the Premiership was expecting to see.
Rohl substituted him at half-time of the recent 3-0 win over Dundee, and as a result, it will surely be tempting to drop him to the bench from the off at Ibrox this weekend.
However, he has clearly been desperate for Miovski to show flashes of what he can do, and now that he has, it is important that the boss tries to exploit that and extract more from his player.
