Danilo reacts on Instagram as ex-Rangers manager Philippe Clement joins Norwich
Danilo has reached out to former Rangers boss Philippe Clement on social media after his surprise move to Norwich City.
Clement was sacked by Rangers back in February after what became an untenable spell as head coach at Ibrox.
It was a surprise at the time that Rangers had stuck by Clement for so long before moving him on and replacing him with Barry Ferguson.
Clement has now stepped back into management with Norwich and looks set to test his managerial talents in the English Championship.
There have been plenty of talks about Clement and what he did in Govan, but it seems that only Danilo has fond memories of the manager.

Danilo reacts to Philippe Clement Instagram post
Chris Sutton has swiped at Norwich after appointing Clement, suggesting that avoiding relegation is the priority in the second tier.
With the pedigree of the ex-Light Blues man, it feels as if he will have higher expectations for his upcoming spell at Carrow Road.
Any confidence in his own coaching abilities may have taken a hit after what went down throughout his tenure with the Gers.
Results became a soruce of frustration as he struggled to deal with the toxic atmosphere surrounding Ibrox on a weekly basis.
That looks to have had an impact on Clement’s relationship with players as Danilo is the only Rangers player to have liked an Instagram post by the Belgian.
The new Norwich boss posted an image of himself with a Canaries shirt, accompanied by the message: “Ready for this new chapter.“
Ibrox forward Danilo has liked the post, but none of his current teammates have joined him in wishing their old manager well.
Was Clement the right man at the wrong time for Rangers?
It feels as if the Govan outfit are moving in the right direction for the first time in a while after the appointment of Danny Rohl.
Russell Martin didn’t get it and became a constant source of annoyance before being moved on after just months in charge.
Clement at least had some positive moments in charge in G51, but that isn’t to say that he deserved to face the sack when he did.

A mixed record took its toll, but it is fair to say that this may have been indicative of the atmosphere surrounding the Gers before and during his tenure.
If he were in charge now with the positivity surrounding Rohl, things could have been different for the Belgian in the Scottish Premiership.
