Celtic could be days from ‘worst-case scenario’ after latest Rangers developments
Rangers will be watching developments at Celtic closely over the November international break.
Danny Rohl has Rangers flying in the Scottish Premiership, while Martin O’Neill has steadied the ship at Parkhead after Brendan Rodgers resigned.
Rangers currently sit 12 points behind Hearts with a game in hand, and five behind Celtic after a terrible start to the season under Russell Martin.
Rohl will hope to continue his strong domestic form after the break, with Livingston and Falkirk representing a brilliant opportunity, both at Ibrox.

Celtic set for worst-case scenario in Scottish Premiership
Hugh Keevins has acknowledged the positive start made by Rohl at Ibrox, but did question his celebrations at Dens Park after Rangers’ 3-0 win over Dundee.
Writing in the print edition of the Sunday Mail on 16 November, the journalist shared that the next two games, with Celtic at St Mirren and Hibernian, could see Rangers overtake them.
“Rohl appears to have already convinced that day’s protesters the league title race, once a complete write-off, is back on the agenda,” Keevins wrote.
“His next two games are at Ibrox against the promoted clubs Livingston and Falkirk, Celtic’s next couple of matches are away to St Mirren and Hibs.

“Only five points currently separate the defending champions from the team across the road on the other side of the city in the league table.
“Do the maths if it’s the worst-case scenario for Celtic.”
What is latest on new Celtic manager hunt?
Wilfried Nancy looks set to be the next man in charge at Parkhead.
Celtic have been granted permission to talk to the Columbus Crew boss, who looks set to leave the MLS behind for the Scottish Premiership.
There is already a raging split between the fans, just as there was with Rangers when they bounced from Steven Gerrard, to Kevin Muscat, all the way to Rohl.
If Nancy is appointed before the international break ends, he will face a huge task of starting without half of his squad, before tough trips to St Mirren and Hibs.
Even losing one of those, while Rangers pick up maximum points, would leave them breathing down his neck and already facing humongous pressure.
Thankfully, Rangers are now into the swing of things under Rohl, with the German dominating games in the Scottish Premiership consistently.
That hasn’t happened for years, and while form in Europe is not as strong, fans won’t mind the immediate shift for now, seeing their team do what they’re supposed to do domestically.

With the better head-to-head record in Old Firm games in recent times, Rangers will be looking forward to getting stuck into their rivals again.
If not for Nick Walsh and the Scottish FA having yet another shocker, the Light Blues would have won again at Hampden Park recently, but that wasn’t to be.
That will only light the fire to make this so-called worst-case scenario a reality after the break.
