Roma will surely be licking their lips after latest Rangers reveal
Rangers face Roma on Thursday, and they must arrest a dismal record if they are going to get a result.
Rangers have no new fitness concerns for the Ibrox clash on 6 November, but Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are expected to be missing key players.
Paulo Dybala, Angelino and Evan Ferguson have been ruled out of the Europa League contest in a huge boost for Danny Rohl‘s side.
However, the hosts have a mountain to overcome after a new stat reveal emerged.

Rangers have a shocking record against Italian sides
Rangers are hoping to climb off the bottom of the Europa League standings, but they have a shocking record against Italian opposition.
While this is the first meeting with Roma for the Glasgow outfit, they have failed to score in their last four European matches against teams from their country.
The last time the Gers won a clash with an Italian side was the 3-2 win over Livorno in the UEFA Cup group stage in October 2006.

Danny Rohl can’t wait for Rangers vs Roma
Rohl is not overawed by facing opposition as prestigious as Roma, in fact, he has admitted that he is looking forward to the contest.
He is excited for the rapturous atmosphere in Govan and claimed that he has seen the scenes from the 3-1 win over RB Leipzig in the 2021-22 season.
- Rangers reached the Europa League final under Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the 2021-22 campaign
- The semi-final win over the Germans was one of the biggest results in the history of the Govan outfit
- They would ultimately lose on penalties in the final to Eintracht Frankfurt
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, he said: “I watched the videos after the Leipzig game at home.
“It was a crazy atmosphere. I’ve spoken to a couple of players in the last few days from Leipzig. They sent me messages saying the atmosphere here that night was really special.
“So, of course, that’s also a part of why I’m enjoying being here. It’s to win games in the league, but also to have good European nights.”
The former Sheffield Wednesday manager will hope that his side thrives in front of their own fans and gets their European journey back on track after three consecutive losses in the competition.
If the Light Blues fail to win, they will have a very tough task to salvage their hopes of reaching the knockout stages.
They will hope to put their poor record against Italian teams behind them, and finally add another victory, but whether they can do that, remains to be seen.
