Nicolas Raskin injury woes emerge at Rangers as Danny Rohl to have major worry
Nicolas Raskin may be suffering from an ankle injury at Rangers ahead of facing Roma in the Europa League on Thursday.
Ibrox will host Gian Piero Gasperini’s team on 6 November, with the Gers facing a massive task to kickstart their hopes in the European competition after losing their opening three matches.
Danny Rohl has been able to get the best out of Raskin, but the German manager may need to be diligent in how he uses the midfielder.
The Belgium international will undoubtedly be the key to the Glaswegian outfit’s success for the remainder of the campaign, but his situation is one to keep an eye on.

Danny Rohl should manage Nicolas Raskin minutes at Rangers
Daily Record journalist Keith Jackson claims that Raskin could potentially have an “ongoing issue”, which will certainly be worrying for Rohl.
The Belgian national was substituted at the 90th minute against Celtic at Hampden Park as the Gers lost the Old Firm derby in the Premier Sports Cup final 3-1.
With Roma’s trip to Ibrox, the former Sheffield Wednesday boss will certainly hope any possible knocks don’t hinder the 24-year-old’s performance.
Speaking on Hotline Live on 5 November, Jackson said: “I think he might have an ankle problem. An ongoing issue with an ankle, I think.”
Raskin is being linked with an exit from Ibrox, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Light Blues cash in on him with just a year left on his contract next summer.
For the time being, the Gers should look to use the Belgium international and make the most of his talent to turn the season around.
Danny Rohl must avoid Ibrox embarrassment in Europa League
Rohl has to turn around the Europa League prospects at Ibrox, with the Light Blues predicted to lose to Roma by Opta’s supercomputer.
A defeat to the Serie A giants would certainly mean Rangers will remain at the bottom of the table in the European competition.
| Appearances | Goals | Assists | Minutes played |

It’s hard to see where the Glaswegian outfit can get points from as they face Braga and Porto in the league phase later.
With hopes of getting into the knockout stages of the Europa League fading in G51, the least Rohl must do is put up a fight and help the Gers finish further up the table.
